OFFICERS from Barry Police Station, along with partner teams from the County Council, will be at King Square, Barry today (Thursday, May 22) between 1.30pm and 4pm.

The team will be at King Square with TREV, The Reassurance Engagement Vehicle, from South Wales Police. TREV provides members of the public the opportunity to come along and chat to local Neighbourhood Officers in a comfortable and relaxed environment.

The Safer Vale Partnership team will be there to provide advice on all types of community safety issues, including anti-social behaviour and crime prevention.

Inspector Paul Tinkler from the Safer Vale Partnership said: “This is a great opportunity for members of the community to meet the Safer Vale Partnership team in an informal setting, and provide them the opportunity to get advice in relation to any aspect of crime prevention, or to tell us about any issues in relation to anti-social behaviour in their area that may be concerning them.”
