THE Rotary Club of Barry recently held its annual dinner at the Cardiff and Vale College on Colcot Road, Barry.
The club invited the mayor of the Vale of Glamorgan, Cllr Margaret Wilkinson, and her consort, Jane Norman, and the mayor of Barry, Cllr Claire Curtis, and her consort, Cllr Rob Curtis, as their special guests.
The Rotarians and guests were treated to a five-course meal prepared by students from the hospitality department of the college.
Cllr Margaret Wilkinson said: "The food served was first class and the evening gave an excellent opportunity for the future chefs and restaurant managers to prepare and serve a formal dinner to guests who very much appreciated the meal.”
Cllr Claire Curtis added: “We are very grateful to the Rotary for inviting us to their annual dinner and thank you must go to the students for providing such an excellent evening”.
