A BARRY mum and reigning world beauty title holder has recently hosted a charity event in Newport helping it raise more than £6000.
Mum-of-one Kate Alicia Morgan, hosted beauty pageant show Miss Inspiration UK 2014 at The Dolman Theatre, in Newport, earlier this month.
The event raised vital funds for The Lullaby Trust.
Former Miss Latin America UK, Kate is the reigning Miss World’s Most Beautiful Woman.
Kate, 30, said: “It was great hosting the show and presenting all the contestants. It was a fantastic opportunity to assist such a good cause and was honoured to be approached to present this event. Also, it is rewarding to know that using my recent winning title can be put to good cause by raising awareness of this charity.”
She added: “My win is leading to fab opportunities in UK and also in the US, where I have already been contacted for international media castings!
“I hope to squeeze more work in my school hols, to fit around my job as a cover supervised in Llantwit Comprehensive.”
