Ruling resolutions

VALE AM Jane Hutt and Vale MP Alun Cairns have made their New Year Resolutions for 2014.

Jane said she would continue to work hard and support the town of Barry as a local resident and Assembly Member to the best of her ability, to serve the common good, ensure the new road to Barry Island is delivered on time with finance from the Welsh Government following the good news before Christmas, and back Barry businesses, communities, schools, Credit Union and all those who are vulnerable and need support in difficult times.

She also said her personal resolutions were to take more exercise, enjoying walking in the Vale with Valeways, “continue to enjoy music which helps me relaxes especially at choirs and concerts in the Vale, and do a bit more gardening.”

Alun said his resolutions were to “eat less and run more, hold more community meetings on key local issues as they develop, and remember to put out the recycling out every week, rather than forget, which forces me to store it to recycle at a later date!”
