FORTE Jean Margaret (nee Spence) 21st December 1929 to 7th April 2024 Devoted wife of and best friend to Andre, loving mother to Antonia and Mark and mother-in-law to Michael and Pamela, and doting and proud Nonna to Rosanna, Jake, and Ellis. A life-long resident of Barry, Jean will be best remembered for her involvement with The Traders' Association of Barry Island, where she ran The Sandpiper for many years. Several generations in the area will have fond memories of their holiday jobs with her. In line with Jean's wishes, there will be a private family-only interment. For those who wish, donations in memory of her life can be made to RNIB or St John's Ambulance Service.
