THE Kast off Kinks, which features former members of The Kinks, will be heading to Barry to re-live days gone by.
This show isn't a tribute as it features three actual former members of the band, replaying the hit songs that made the band a household name.
The Kast off Kinks were formed in 1994 by the original Kinks drummer, Mick Avory.
For most fans, Mick is the definitive Kinks drummer and regarded to this day as the backbone of the band.
Also returning to make-up the line-up is John Dalton, bass/vocals for the Kinks for 1966 and 1969-76 and Ian Gibbons, keyboards/vocals, who played with the Kinks from 1979-96.
Rounding out the line-up is Dave Clarke, guitar/vocals previously with the Beach Boys, Noel Redding and Tim Rose.
Expect all the hits, including You Really Got Me, Dedicated Follower of Fashion, Sunny Afternoon, Lola, Days, Waterloo Sunset, Come Dancing, and many more.
The Kast off Kinks will perform at the Memo Arts Centre, Barry, on Saturday, January 28, at 7.30pm.
