DYFFRYN Gardens, a National Trust garden in the Vale of Glamorgan, is hosting their first second hand book fair.

After running a very successful second hand book shop, which has risen over £10,000 to date, they have set their sights on raising even more to restore the fountain at the end of the Great Lawn.

The fair will take place across the whole site, with stalls set up in the house and gardens selling quality second hand books of all genres. You can also take part in some book folding workshops; creative writing classes run by Bryony Goffin and hear some storytelling. All proceeds from this event will go towards the restoration fund.

They will also be putting on Team Dyffryn Question Time, their take on gardener’s question time, where you can ask the panel of general manager Geraldine Donovan, head gardener Chris Flynn and their team all of your burning questions about the gardens, plants and history of Dyffryn. You can even get some tips for your garden at home.

The fair will run on June 11 and 12 from 10.30am to 4pm.
