AS part of Film Hub Wales' BFI LOVE film screenings, the Memo Arts Centre, Barry, will show a number of films through November and December.

WALL-E will be screened for families on November 14. On November 26, there will be a special screening of Brief Encounter to celebrate the film's 70th anniversary.

As part of BFI LOVE Reminiscence, the film will be followed by a marvellous tea dance with tea and cake. The film begins at 1pm with the tea dance running from 2.30pm until 5pm.

On December 3, a Romeo and Juliet masked ball. Working together with, and open to all local charities based in Barry, the Memo’s Masked Ball Screening offers an entertaining evening for service users, their carer’s, family and support staff to experience a modern re-telling of Shakespeare’s, love tragedy in a relaxed and playful atmosphere.

On December 13, it is a Classic Love theme with It Happened One Night, December 21 will be a family screening of Stardust and on the same day a Classic Love screening of It's a Wonderful Life.
