MOTORPOINT Arena, Cardiff, is opening a new venue called Exit 7 in the existing arena.
By working with promoters from around the UK, Motorpoint Arena Cardiff is providing a platform to new and emerging talent, enabling them, whether they are bands or singer songwriters, to demonstrate their skills and song writing craft to a passionate Cardiff crowd in an intimate 150 capacity venue with its own distinctive entrance adjacent to Charles Street.
The idea behind Exit 7 reinforces Motorpoint Arena Cardiff’s commitment and passion to supporting grass roots music. Whilst the venue attracts global stars through its doors on a regular basis and has already hosted performances from Elton John and The Prodigy this year, it is determined to find future stars and give them a vital opportunity in a new setting within a well known nationally recognised venue.
The first gigs at Exit 7 are in conjunction with Cardiff based Fizzi Productions Ltd and are planned for Wednesday, September 30. Performing will be The Octopus Project plus support from Threatmantics and Lux Aeterna.
