AN exciting new line-up of local musicians will be making their debut at the Park Hotel, Barry on Saturday, December 20.
Fans of great party music should not miss the six piece band called The Groove Habit. The band is made up of Kirby Stevens on drums, Andy Cleary on bass, Rob Weekley on keyboards, Pete Hughes on guitar and fronted by vocalists Julie and Laura.
Make sure to be there for 8.30pm as it is sure to be popular and it is completely free. The night will feature tracks by artists including Stevie Wonder, Chic, Lionel Richie, Jackson Five, Jamiroquai, Daft Punk, David Bowie, Randy Crawford, Santana, Odyssey, Al Green, Steely Dan, M People, B-52’s, Bill Withers, Amy Winehouse and Wild Cherry. It will be a night featuring an up-tempo blend of funk, soul and R&B influenced by Nile Rogers.
The party bar at the Park Hotel is the ideal venue, so get there early and don’t miss out.
