AT THE Memo Arts Centre, Barry you can re-live The Dansette Days on Thursday, October 16.
Come along and be taken back to The Dansette Days of the 50’s and 60’s, when ballads and rock and roll filled the hit parade.
It is a fantastic and nostalgic tribute evening, featuring some of the greatest hits from Billy Fury, Dusty Springfield, Bobby Vee and Helen Shapiro.
You’ll hear songs like ‘Halfway to Paradise’, ‘I Will’ and ‘Son of a Preacher Man’, and see excellent performances by Steve Conway as Bobby Vee, Liza Starlight as Helen Shapiro, Vicky Lamber as Dusty Springfield and Rob Dee as Billy Fury,
Tickets to see The Dansette Days cost £12.50 in advance or £13.50 on the door.
