DINAS Powys girl Grace Hartrey, now based in Liverpool, is returning to Cardiff for two shows which are not to be missed.

Grace has been steadily making waves in Cardiff over recent years with her Newton Faulkner-esque acoustic guitar vibes and hardhitting/smooth crooning voice, which has seen her become a real favourite amongst audiences.

She’s played numerous venues including The Globe, The Moon Club and the Wales Millennium Centre, to name just a few, but now with her being based in Liverpool she’s branched out and is now playing at many of the city’s finest stages and even at the O2 in London.

Grace has toured towns across the UK with her fantastic music and has had the honour of supporting the like of Don Ross, Thomas Leeb, Brooke Miller and Tom Hingley of Inspiral Carpets. It seems nothing will slow down the rise of Grace Hartrey.

Now backed with her band from various corners of the continent, Grace offers an exhilerating show, an experience which can soon be shared after the release of the double A side: Kings & Queens // Hazel Grows which is out on Tuesday, October 7.

The tracks will be avaialble on Spotify and iTunes amongst others. A physical copy will be released which will see it sold first at her release gig in Liverpool.

Grace will be in Cardiff at the beginning of November with her first gig at Nos Da on Saturday 1 for the Beer Festival and then playing at the Brewhouse on St Mary’s Street on November 3.

The band will be joing Grace on stage for the first time outside of Liverpool, so defintely one to watch.
