DON’T miss the 60’s Gold Tour as it comes to St David’s Hall, Cardiff this October. There will be a number of incredible bands and performers coming along for the tour will take place on Wednesday, October 29.

Coming along will be the record breaking Merseybeat band Gerry and The Pacemakers, which was the first act to reach number one and the first act ever to top the charts with their first three singles.

Another incredible band from Liverpool and who have been tipped to be as big as The Beatles are The Searchers’. Their first single also went to number one and led to five more Top 5 hits and a total of 128 weeks in the charts.

There will also be a performance by the controversial, ponytailed P.J. Proby, whose trouser splitting shocked the nation, he was a Melody Maker teen idol award winner in 1964 and spent 91 weeks in the charts.

You can see The Fortunes who stormed the Top 10 with ‘You’ve Got Your Troubles’, ‘Here It Comes Again’, ‘Freedom Come Freedom Go’ and ‘Storm in a Teacup’.

Finally, completing the line up will be Brian Poole and Chip Hawkes, on stage together, bringing you the very greatest hits of The Tremeloes.
