EVERY week Archaeology Cymru meets at Asda Leckwith, Cardiff to examine the legends. These are open to anyone and they meet at 7.30pm and include refreshments.

Gareth Thomas will release ‘A Welsh Dawn’ at the Wales Millennium Centre on Monday, September 15 at 1.45pm.

A Welsh Dawn dramatises political events in Wales and London in the late 1950s.

You’ll be able to get your copy signed at the Portmeirion Gift Shop at 3pm.

On Friday, September 19 Tesco, Barry Highlight Park are having a coffee morning in aid of Macmillan. It starts at 11am, please come along and have a coffee and cake with them to support this wonderful charity.

Cadoxton W.I., Barry are having a charity coffee morning on Tuesday, September 23 at the Civic Offices. Doors open at 10.30am. Proceeds of the coffee morning will go to Coastal Watch, Barry and Cadoxton Primary School. Admission £1.50 which includes tea or coffee. Various stalls and raffles available.
