FOLLOWING on from last year’s successful debut, the magical and breath-taking “Isle of Fire” - will return to Barry Island on Saturday and Sunday, July 19 and 20.
The night time event will see the Island Gardens transform into a beautiful, fiery landscape, with the audience invited to explore fire-breathing copper flowers, scorching sculptural trees and glowing floral chimneys.
The two-day event, which is organised by the Vale of Glamorgan Council in partnership with Walk the Plank, will also feature a flaming Viking Ship which will travel along the prom, and fire dancers from Flame Oz.
New for this year’s festival, Shadowplay – an enchanting and intimate 30 minute show, using traditional silhouette animation, and the Fiery Arch of Passion – a walk through archway featuring fire-breathing, mechanical passion flowers.
This not to be missed event is free and starts at approximately 9pm.
