TALENTED individuals with a yearning for a ‘60s stage setting are invited to sign up for a performing academy’s master class sessions.
The sessions will lead to a casting workshop for Superstars in the Making’s community summer musical Hairspray, in the Barry Memo, this August.
Grease the Musical last year featured more than 65 performers from across South Wales and a further 1,800 people watched.
The project aims to provide local performers with chance to work with a professional creative team and create a West-End inspired show for the community to enjoy.
The two-hour musical theatre workshop is based around the musical with participants learning a song and a dance routine from the musical working with industry professionals.
Master Class workshops will be held at the Memo on Friday, April 25.
Places can be booked online or by contacting the Memo
The minimum age is 13.
Casting call-backs will take place at the Memo on Friday, May 2.
