A COFFEE morning in support of a Barry-based charity that caters for almost 100 people with learning disabilities, has raised £582.
High Street-based ValePlus, which trains its clients in work and life-related skills at its dedicated charity shop Nova and Cafe No. 5, both also based in the street, benefited from the function.
Vale mayor, Cllr Margaret Wilkinson and her consort Jane Norman, recently hosted the event.
