Cobbles Kitchen and Deli opening in Barry's Goodsheds

Cobbles Kitchen and Deli is known for their amazing sandwiches which are packed with delicious fresh ingredients.

The company, based in a gorgeous farmhouse just outside of Ogmore, announced their exciting news on Instagram.

They confirmed their collaboration with Goodsheds, saying: “ You asked. We listened!

“We are so excited to finally announce that Cobbles will be expanding. After years of requests from you guys we have finally bit the bullet and spread our wings and this is just the beginning…

“Cobbles will be launching in no other than The Goodsheds Barry. We are so excited to be part of this incredible brand and making Barry a new home.

“Thank you to all of our loyal customers who travel from all over to eat with us. Without you, these dreams would never become reality."

Cobbles plans to launch at the Goodsheds in Spring, but already the committed independent retail community at the Goodsheds is excited about Cobbles coming.

Fellow traders said on their Instagram accounts, “amazing”, “new neighbours”, and “can’t wait for this”.

Cobbles also has ambitious plans to expand to more locations and wants its loyal fanbase to suggest where they should go next.

The company added: “But that’s not all - We have three more locations in the pipeline this year too. So keep your eyes peeled for more news.

“Let us know where you want to see us, where are you guys needing a Cobbles Sandwich co next?”

Goodsheds Barry going from strength to strength with independent shops and a farmers market

The Goodsheds seems to be a good idea for the shopping experience in Barry.

Recently they let space for a farmers market to be hosted on the site, and it’s been confirmed the farmers market will return this year.

Goodsheds is also getting rugby fever, showing all the upcoming Six Nations games.

With Barry and District lucky enough to have the Goodsheds on its doorstep, we’ve been a few times.

In May, we met  Nick Lawrence and Emily Weaver of fine wine specialist Corc.

We were also there when the next stage in the development allowed for a host of new retail premises to open on the "Urban high street".

And traders don’t just come to the Goodsheds, they expand out of it, like Richard and Caitlin Evans, of Brown Bear Games, who opened a store in Newport Arcade in November.
