A BARRY man was at it again, stealing from a town store and now he’s ended up back in prison.
Barry and District News reported about Darren Hyde, of Williams Crescent, stealing from Sainsburys on Park Crescent in a ‘reign of theft’ which lasted two months back in March.
Well, Hyde was out of prison and clearly back at it again, returning to Park Crescent and stealing from the same Sainsburys.
Hyde, 39, stole beer, meat, bread, washing tablets and wine from Sainsburys and the One Stop shop on Broad Street within a week between May 5 and May 12.
Hyde stole a total of just under £200 worth of goods in that period.
He appeared at the familiar setting of Cardiff Magistrates Court on May 13 where he pleaded guilty to five charges of theft and was subsequently sent down.
Hyde was sent to prison for four months, however he won’t have to pay compensation from the items stolen due to lack of means to pay any fine, and he already has outstanding debts to pay.
