A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.

THOMAS PAUL THROSSELL, 21, of Court Road, Barry, was banned from driving for 12 months after he admitted drug driving with a cannabis derivative in his blood on Port Road East on April 23 and being in breach of a suspended prison sentence.

He was ordered to pay £790 in fines, costs and a surcharge.

DANIELLE THOMAS, 24, of Atlantic Place, Barry, was banned from driving for 30 months after she admitted drug driving with a cannabis derivative in her blood on Cardiff Road, Dinas Powys, January 29.

She was ordered to pay £319 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

BETHAN HANNAH BRAHIM, 26, of Jewel Street, Barry, was ordered to pay £244 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving without a licence on Western Avenue, Cardiff, on September 29.

Her driving licence was endorsed with six points.

VICTORIA SPITERI, 35, of Portland Drive, Barry, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge after she failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle.

Her driving licence was endorsed with six points.

ALAN MEREDITH, 37, of Partridge Road, St Athan, was banned from driving for six months for driving without insurance on Rectory Road on August 12.

He was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

KEIRAN JOHNS, 24, of Holton Road, Barry, was ordered to pay £344 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving through a red light in Cardiff on the A4161 at the Newport Road/Rover Way junction on May 2.

His driving licence was endorsed with three points.

ZELLA WOSENCROFT, 86, of Heol Y Cawl, Dinas Powys, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge after she failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle.

Her driving licence was endorsed with six points.

SUSAN MARY POWELL, 44, of Westra Cross, Dinas Powys, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge after she failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle.
