THE Wales football team have been training at Jenner Park before this week's Euro 2008 qualifying matches against Slovakia and Cyprus, at the Millennium Stadium.

The team has a few injury problems before facing Slovakia this Saturday at 3pm, and Cyprus next Wednes-day at 8pm. Ryan Giggs (hamstring) looks likely not to play in either match, and was not training at Jenner.

Wales manager John Toshack told BBC Sport: "I've a feeling Giggs will start full-time training 48 hours before the Cyprus game. That would probably mean he would miss out, but we'll wait and see."

Giggs has not played a match since Manch-ester United's win over Celtic on September 13, and has been replaced by Craig Bellamy as Wales' captain, despite the Liverpool striker appearing in court next week on assault charges.

Giggs joins former Cardiff City players James Collins (groin tear) and Mark Delaney (knee) on the sidelines, along with Sam Ricketts (fractured cheekbone), with Crystal Palace midfielder Carl Fletcher another injury worry.
