LOCAL karate champs Lee and Spencer Bennett, chief instructors of the Rising Sun Karate Club, are certainly on a roll.
After raising over £1,000 for injured local soldier Dale Leach and charity Help for Heroes, they have opened their own training facility, The Samurai Martial Arts Centre and Power Strength Gym, for members of the club.
The beginners' class is every Tuesday at 7pm in their new centre which is adjacent to The Savoy. People of all abilities, aged 6-96 are welcome to come along to a completely free trial lesson any Tuesday.
A unique and modern teaching method is used for the many members of the club.
For the younger juniors, there is the Rising Sun Rising Stars. This lesson involves using fun and games to teach 4-7 year olds the discipline of martial arts in a friendly environment.
