Unfortunately Cadoxton, Murch and Belle Vue have had to drop out of the leagues for various reasons, but Belle Vue are now completing their fixtures as friendlies.

Barry Central have an attractive bowling ground situated in Gladstone Park and all are welcome to come and watch a game of bowls.

The club play matches on Wednesday and Saturdays but there are bowlers on the green playing social bowls during weekdays.

Central have been successfully running a special of offer of two hours of bowls for £5 between the hours of 11am to 5pm (booking advisable, telephone number is on gate sign by bowling ground) or details on our facebook page.

The club had four players on Tuesday and three on Thursday last week and they had an enjoyable game of bowls.

Clubhouse main room hire is available with bar facilities, kitchen, disabled access/toilets, ideal for parties, wakes, business meetings, reasonable rates and we are looking for banner sponsors for next season.

Keep safe and enjoy exercise (preferably lawn bowling).

Editor's note: This article has been amended to remove an incorrect statement that Belle Vue had withdrawn from fixtures due to players leaving, which was not the case. We are sorry for any upset caused.
