WITH the NHS flag still flying at Brynhill Golf Club on the 18th green and social distancing still in place, the Ladies' captain Lisa Taylor and her committee have been busy thinking of ways to keep the ladies of Brynhill occupied.
Lisa and her vice captains organised a 10-week competition culminating in an overall winner of the silver and bronze divisions.
Winner of the Silver Division was Sam Pascoe and winner of the Bronze Division was Lisa Taylor.
On the 8th September Lisa organised a Taylor made stableford tournament.
Although the weather was poor it did not deter the 26 ladies who entered.
The competition included quiz questions on each hole, also nearest the pin, nearest the line, nearest the post. A yellow ball had to be used on the 7th to give an opportunity of double points.
Winner was Jane Phillips with 50 points and runner up was Sam Pascoe with 45 points.
Nearest the post - Jane Phillips
Nearest the line - Judy Davies
Nearest the pin - Sue Holland.
A presentation followed in the bar and good fun was had by all, with many a story being related about fun things happening on the golf course.
A vote of thanks was given to Lisa and her committee for all their hard work.
