IT was qualification time at Brynhill last weekend with a place in the semis at stake in the 3 categories.
The Buck Rabbit (18 and over handicaps) best qualifier was Warren Mason with an excellent 86, 2 better than Scott Galsworthy with Dave Johnson (92) and Stuart Burgoyne (93) filling the remaining slots.
The Howell Hughes (10-17 handicaps) was topped by Oliver Jeynes who’s two round 169 total saw him secure qualification and lift the Dai Rees Cup. Runner up was Lee lucky Galsworthy on 170 with 171s from Mike Reddi and Dave Cummings being good enough to grab the other 2 spots.
As usual the annual presentation of the Morgan Williams Cup (0-9 handicaps) was made to Scott Bowman whose 149 was best in the Championship Qualifier, Jockey Griffiths came second with a 152 total with Micky Perry 155 and the mercurial Lee Price limbering into 4th spot with a 157.

Next week the Barry club stages the inaugural Grass Cutters Cup and as always irrespective of the results.
