BRYNHILL Golf Club staged its first major, of this coronavirus-disrupted season, on Sunday, August 9, when the members battled for the Presidents Cup.
Currently La Presidenta is Hilary Evita West and her popularity was reflected in the strong turnout for this competition.
Played over 18 holes of Stableford format, the most points were accrued by militant trade union rabble rouser Stevie ‘the Red’ Doyle, who’s 41 points were three better than runner-up Kevin Perry.
Slasher Giles will adjust handicaps accordingly.
Next weekend it’s the Club Championship qualifiers, split into 3 handicap categories, single figures, 10-17 and 18 to maybe you should play cribbage instead.
In this reduced season only the top 4 in each group go through to the knock out stages to decide who’ll contest the finals the following weekend.
