ON Sunday, it was back to real golf at Brynhill as the Barry course held an 18 hole medal competition.
With the course in first class condition and the weather almost ideal it was no surprise the scores were low, what was a surprise however was the lowest was carded by the chopping chemist Glenn Taylor, who’s handicap busting 5 under 67 secured first prize, same number as second placed Dave Taylor who lost out on a back nine countback, with the comeback kid Jon Williams taking third on 69.
A busy month lies ahead with the Club Championship taking place on the weekend of 15/16th and Captains Prize 29/30th.
As always at Brynhill, golf will be the real winner.
