BRYNHILL Golf Club Ladies' Section has warmly welcomed their new Ladies' captain Lisa Taylor.

The new skipper had worked hard to plan fun arrangements for her forthcoming year of captaincy.

However, who was to know that the world pandemic of Covid-19 would disrupt everyone's lives and also sadly claim so many lives worldwide.

The Ladies' captain organised a St. David's Day Social Evening just before golf clubs closed.

The ladies had a great time as they always do at the social functions that the captain organises.

However in March all golf clubs had to close but did this stop Lisa - absolutely not.

To keep her ladies well connected with each other through the well established Whats App group, Lisa organised quizzes of varying degrees of difficulty, fun quizzes and virtual golf games.

This she has done every week without fail. She has kept the Ladies' Section informed of all the current rules on golf clubs as and when they have been announced.

Now that the Brynhill Golf Course has re-opened, Lisa is back in full captaincy mode.

Brynhill Golf Club supports the NHS and all front line workers and has proudly displayed the NHS flag on the 18th green.

Many fun selfies have been taken by individual ladies all inspired by the Ladies' captain who is a keen selfie photographer!

The Ladies' Section of Brynhill would like to say a big thank you to the Ladies' captain.

The ladies are all looking forward to what Lisa has planned for the rest of her captaincy year and to next year, when she will be Ladies' captain again.
