ON Saturday Brynhill held its 99th annual presentation night, the black tie and sparkle evening was well attended and enjoyed by both members and friends of the Barry club.
Beginning with the presentation of the trophies and an emotive tribute to Brynhill Legend John Collins from Club Champion Scott Bowman, the evening invariably degenerated into a raucous night of drunken Dad dancing.
As always the turnout for the Sunday Pro Comp was lower than usual and while correlation is not necessarily causation I’d humbly suggest there is a link.
The Pro Comp was won by notorious hackers Chick and Such, 46points squeezing out fellow choppers Bounds and Townsend on a back nine count back.
Last week also saw the Brynhill Seniors host their Presentation Lunch, the Zombie Apocalypse themed afternoon saw Andrew Down lift the Seniors Championship while Bob Bounds, in a bigger shock than Leicester winning the Premier League, was named Senior Player of the Year.
