LAST week he was plotting how to deal with Lions playmaker Jonathan Sexton at the World Cup and on Saturday Shaun Connor was back in his boots.
The 43-year-old former Dragons and Ospreys fly-half came off the bench for Blaina against Newport Saracens.
The Lambs, who have started well in Division Three East A, won 41-5 at Central Park in the Colin Tuckwell Shield, a competition named after the Gwent rugby stalwart who died in July.
How many #RugbyWorldCup coaches do you know that comes straight from Japan at 3am to playing for their local grassroots club at 2:30pm.

Connor was fresh off the plane after being part of Russia’s management team in Japan where he was assistant to former Dragons boss Lyn Jones.
Russia produced four battling performances in defeat to hosts Japan, Samoa, Ireland and Scotland.
They also boasted former Dragons analyst Will Precious and physio Chris Jenkins in their backroom team.

Connor made 29 appearances for the Dragons between 2008 and 2010 before returning as a coach in 2014, initially with the academy and then as backs coach until 2018.
