This came courtesy of a hard fought 3-2 victory over Tynewydd at the Buttrills, Denver Salisbury getting the winner for St Athan.

AFC Rhoose moved second with their first league win of September as they saw off Cowbridge Town 4-2 in impressive fashion.

Cadoxton Imps moved third to complete a new look top three, as they edged Penarth Town 3-2, the fourth time they have won by that scoreline in the league this season. Cleary, Powell and Parry bagging the goals for the Imps.

Cogan Coronation picked up a second successive win with a comprehensive 5-1 triumph over Cardiff Airport, a third straight loss for Airport.

In Division One, league leaders AFC Rhoose B continued their good form with a 2-1 win away to Vale Madrid in a tough encounter.

Rhoose B are now five points clear at the top as Cadoxton Barry were held 3-3 by Rhoose Social, Social coming back from three goals down for an impressive point.

Barry Vikings put on a fine display at Maslin Park, coming out 6-2 winners over Island Marine B to go third.

Barry Athletic B picked up their second league win of the campaign with a 5-3 win over Cwm Talwg, to move up a place to tenth.

And finally, SP Billy picked up their first point of the season in thrilling 3-3 draw with St Athan B.
