THE 2019 season has been the most successful season Barry Athletic Cricket Club has ever had and was the first for junior coordinator Mark Rees who was carrying on the work done by previous incumbent Mark Ellis.

The under 9s coached by Mark Rees and Ashley Baker won 13 of their 19 games including winning their last nine games which lead to coach Mark Rees doing a forfeit and going on the sky flyer ride in the pleasure park.

The under 11s went undefeated in the B league and winning the plate final to end a brilliant season in their part.

The under 11s softball side lost just one of their 5 games

The under 13s lost just 3 games on their way to finishing runners-up in both the league and plate final.

This season with all stars, under 9s, under 11s hard and softball and under 13s a total of 80 plus boys and girls have enjoyed cricket at the club this season, this with the introduction of a women's softball team and the introduction of a girls team in 2020 the club on a high and becoming a more diverse club.

Thanks go to Glan Williams, Ashley Baker, Rhod Jones, Dave Dranfield, Lee Morgan, Andy Skinner, Michelle Skinner and Alex Gadd for their help during the season.
