ON Monday 8th July, the official opening of the new patio area took place at Barry Romilly Bowling Club.

The area is known as Ray's Retreat.

The area renovation was sponsored by the law firm of Everett, Tomlin, Lloyd and Pratt.

Ray's partner Norma approached the officers of the club and said that Ray's son Ashley would like to have something put in the club in memory of his late father.

Ray was a very well respected and much liked member of the club.
