ON the 8th of June an team of 20 Beavers took part in there first swimming gala of this year after an delayed start of the season.
Twelve of the team returned with medals end of the day which were 4 bronzes, 5 silvers and 3 golds and the swimming club team finished in 2nd place too.
On the 20th both Jen and Nicholas attended an session at Rhondda Polar Bears Swimming Club to assess some of there swimmers doing there Green badges, accompanied by Chris and Pat.
Most of them successfully achieved their Green badges and the others were given extra time to try again at an later date.
On June 22nd there was some new members attending which they were allocated a helper to assist them while in the water.
The club has recently had new members joining the club and participating the sessions.
