WEDNESDAY evening saw Sully entertain a weakened Belle Vue side, so a 12-2 win with 84 shots to 47 was a fair reult on the day.

D Lougher, D Curtin, B Curtis, D Edwardes 28-4, D Hodges, J Hubbard,K Mahoney, M Hardy, 23-11 A Kelly,E Pryer,R Fitzjohn,P Neale 10-17, B Danscombe, R Neathercote, H Thomas, H Levick Jones,23-15.

As Sully continue to play novice bowlers in there mid week team this was a very good result.

Saturday brought a stumble to the resent form of the villagers as we played at home in the league against Senghenydd.

Across the green after seven and fourteen ends Sully were in front, but fatigue seemed to set in to some of the team, and one player even got hurt believe it or not enough to struggle to finish the game .

The last four ends saw the home side go from 6 up to 10 down and winning on only one rink so 2-12 on points and 74-84 was not what was needed. D Lougher B Danscombe, J Best,T Murphy 20-18, G John, R Fitzjohn, A Thomas, D Curtis,19-24 A Smith, E Pryer, M Hardy B Griffiths, 16-18, B Curtis A Rees, D Hotchkiss, D Edwards, 19-24.

In Sunday's horrible weather the Villagers were at home in the two rink Alan Martin cup against Rhoose.

The green held up well to the rain and although a short break was taken during the worst of it play went on to a conclusion. From six ends Sully were up and so it stayed to the close with both rinks winning. D Edwards, K Mahoney, M Hardy,A Thomas 26-14, A Rees, D Hotchkiss, J Best, T Murphy, 32-16.

This week the Villagers are at Barry Ath, on Wednesday and home again to Ynysangharad in the league on Saturday 14.30
