ON Monday 27th May the annual Mixed Change Partners golf competition took place.
The competition is a Greensome Foursome format. Although the weather was dry, the strong winds made playing conditions very tricky.
The scores returned were excellent, with the team of Brian Phillips, Ann Phillips, John Griffiths and Chris Hopkins earning second position with a nett score of 65. However the winning team of Steve Gould, Glynis Gould, Tony Hewlett and Linda Hewlett romped home with an amazing score of nett 60. Which equate to 12 under par!
The club captain Jamie Griffiths presented the teams with their prizes and congratulated all players for taking part.
He thanked John and Jo Kirkpatrick for organising the annual competition.
June 1st and 2nd saw the annual Championship Qualifying Competition at Brynhill.
