AN egg-straordinary amount of fun was had at last weekend’s Easter Egg hunt hosted by Barry Community Tennis Club in Romilly Park.

The event was open to everyone, with on court relay games and tennis fun, as well as some courtside activities such as Pin the Tail on the Bunny and Feed the Bunny, as well as the Easter Egg hunt around the park area surrounding the courts.

All children received spot prizes for efforts in the activities, as well as each receiving an Easter Egg.

Club safeguarding officer, Jenny Griffin, commented: "These events are so important to the ethos of our club, as we are committed to maintaining a community focus and continually introducing new families to our sport.

"It’s great to see how much fun the children have doing something that’s active, outdoorsy and has a fantastic social element too."

New players of all ages and abilities are always welcome at the club, at any of the coaching sessions or the organised social play, and the club is especially welcoming to families, with many of the children's sessions offering a free court and equipment for parents to play while their children have coaching.

To find out more, check out the club’s social media channels or turn up at one of the events or sessions to chat to other members or the coaching team.
