SULLY Sports Bowls Men’s Club launches its 2019 season with an Open Day on Saturday, 13th April, 2:30pm start at their Clubhouse/Green, Sully Sports Ground, South Road, Sully.
Men’s Captain Graham (Nuncky) Brown extends a warm welcome to all members/players - past, current and new.
Don’t worry if you are a novice, or have never bowled, free coaching is available to all newcomers.
The Club practice, and hold team selection, on a Monday evening, and their main fixtures on Saturday afternoon are the Private Greens League, and the Carruthers Cup, with the Munro Cup fixtures played on Wednesday evenings.
Unfortunately the Ladies Section has had to disband, due to insufficient numbers, but the Club wishes every one of them all well in their new clubs or retirement.
The door is always open to re-starting the Ladies Section if some time in the future there are enough ladies interested.
