THE sun shone for lady captain Jo Kirkpatrick's "drive in" at Brynhill Golf Club.
The ladies then played a fun 10 hole stableford David & Goliath 4 ball better ball (with a twist) competition on on Tuesday 26th March.
Once all the ladies were back in the clubhouse, the lady captain thanked everyone for their support.
The lady captain kindly supplied a cheese and biscuits light buffet which ladies gladly tucked into.
The lady captain gave a speech and said that this fun competition would become an annual event.
She again thanked her vice captain Lisa Taylor for her hard work.
The lady captain also took the opportunity to thank Jan Tattersall who had generously half funded the works to the ladies 16th tee.
Presentations then followed with Linda Hewlett winning the "drive in" and Lisa Taylor won the nearest the pin.
The winners of the David & Goliath competition on count back with 22 points were Claire Herbert and Rita Cook who each received a trophy, plant and chocolates.
Past winners received cash prizes and they were:
"March Hares" played on the 5 March - winner Andrea Page with 15 points
"Daffodil Galore" played on the 19th March - winner Linda Hewlett with 16 points OT
