LLOYD Jones, Jamie Jones and Wilson Wong of the rising Sun Kyokushinkai Karate Club were successfully selected to represent Wales in the Severn Challege tournament.
This big event was hosted by BKK Wales with competitors from BKK England, BKK Wales, IFK Ireland, IKK England and WKK Wales.
Twin brothers Jamie and Lloyd Jones, aged nine, and Wilson Wong, eight, have been a part of the Rising Sun karate Club in Barry since they were six.
As well as training there twice a week, they have also attend regular Welsh squad training sessions.
All fighters were selected to fight in the peewee category for their age.
The start of the day saw Wilson Wong come up against a bigger opponent.
Wilson showed great courage but was unsuccessful in progressing to the next round.
Jamie and Lloyd fought three fights each against some tough contenders all battling for a place in the final.
They were both successful with each of their fights which lead them both into the final against one another.
The brothers battled it out on the mat resulting in Jamie winning on points and coming first with his brother Lloyd close behind with second place.
A brilliant result for the boys.
