DESPITE the unseasonably pleasant weather, Brynhill held this year’s second Winter Competition on Sunday.
International surveyor of quantities, Peter Stafford and his retired PCSO partner Gareth Tinnuchie scored best, with a fine 42 points, a great achievement, especially considering Tucci has gone through life with his arms plugged in the wrong shoulder sockets.
Second was the ever popular Neil Bennet and Steve Collins partnership whose 5 under 41 was enough to relegate the massively unpopular Jimmy Krankie Griffiths/Mark very hairy man Weaver duo into third. This Saturday sees a Brynhill select take on a team from Knowle GC Bristol, in an international close season challenge match.
