MEMBERS of Barry Yacht Club's Sea Rowing section have travelled to Italy this week to take part in the 2nd Fixed Seat European Championships.
The event which not only attracts rowers from Wales, but rowers across Europe.
Racing is held in boats very similar to those used by Welsh Sea Rowing members and those of Barry Yacht Club, so the Barry rowers will feel at home.
The Italian hospitality, is it seems, another reason for going to this regatta!
The racing takes place on Lake Comabbio, set in unspoilt countryside and has hosted many Italian Championships over the last 30 years.
