ON Saturday, Barry Yacht Club Sea Rowing will be taking on the great challenge of which has been described as London’s River Marathon.
This consist of a 26-mile row from London’s Dockland to Hammersmith.
The race attracts over 300 crews from around the world in a wide variety of rowing boats.
It is a race for the dedicated racer and for those who enjoy a fun day.
The Barry Sea Rowers will be taking two of the clubs' Celtic Long boats to the race and competing with other similar boats from around the Welsh coast.
There has been rumours regarding the Barry Rowers fancy dress, but unfortunately no details have yet emerged, we will have to wait until we have the race report with pictures.
