The summer tennis season has started well at Barry Community Tennis Club.
After starting 2018 by winning the accolade of Tennis Wales Community Venue of the Year 2017, the club has already seen victories in the South Wales leagues for both the Women's Doubles teams, and the 8u teams.
The women hosted Canton Tennis Club at the weekend, and won overall by securing more sets than their opponents, while the 8u team have already played Llantrisant, winning 14-2, and have also beaten Llantwit Major Tennis Club with a victory of 16-0.
The club also field a men's team, who were unfortunately unsuccessful in their first round of matches against Haverfordwest.
