League Cup:
Barry Town Utd Ladies Development 1-1 Merthyr Ladies
BTU Development Ladies played out an entertaining 1-1 draw at home to higher level opposition in Merthyr Town at Jenner Park Stadium last weekend.
Barry controlled possession in the first half and deservedly went in front through Caitlin Thomas, but a resurgent Merthyr levelled in the second period through a 25-yard free kick.
Both sides pressed in search of a winner, but the final 1-1 scoreline proved a fair reflection of the tie.
