SULLY Cricket Club celebrating its tenth anniversary in April have drawn Sudbrook in the first round of this seasons Welsh Cup.
Club secretary Gavin Beddard said that after the anniversary party at the Seashore Grill on Saturday, April 23, the start of the season will be hectic with league games, the Welsh Cup and the Cardiff midweek cup final carried forward from last season due to bad weather all being played in the first weeks of May.
Club president (Yanni) confirmed that the club will be hiring a coach, that will be leaving the Grill on Sunday, May 8, to take players and supporters to Sudbrook for the Welsh Cup tie.
The Spartans have started indoor net practice on a Sunday morning leading up to the start of the pre-season friendlies which commence on Easter Sunday.
