BRYNHILL Golf Club had plenty of competition throughout April with the first on Thursday 9 when the seniors section under the captaincy of Ralph Thomas started their season with a home win against St Athan.
The players had a win against the Grove on Thursday 16. The group played for the Barry and District News Cup on Sunday 1 with Andy Chick and Michael Murray winning with a result of nett 51.
The golfers suffered a narrow defeat away to Mountain Ash on Wednesday 29.
The club would like to wish Ralph all the best for the coming season as the Senior Section captain.
The Daily Mail Foursome pairing of John Windle and Clive Cureton have been successful in the first two rounds, having beaten Dinas Powys and St Andrews and the group wish them well in the next round away to Wenvoe Castle.
