THIS year, the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support will take place on Friday, September 30.
We would like to ask your readers to think about hosting a coffee morning of their own for their friends, family, classmates or colleagues.
In Wales, more than 19,000 people are diagnosed with cancer every year. Our goal is to make sure no one faces cancer alone.
We provide medical, emotional, practical and financial support, as well as campaigning for better cancer care.
Last year more than 12,500 people in Wales signed up to hold Macmillan coffee mornings to raise funds to help people affected by cancer.
The money raised helps to pay for Macmillan professionals working in Wales to help people affected by cancer including our specialist cancer nurses, welfare benefits advisers, speech therapists, physiotherapists and dietitians.
If you’d like to find out more about holding a coffee morning for Macmillan, you can visit our website to request a free Coffee Morning Kit at http://coffee.macmillan.org.uk/.
It has everything that you will need in order to host a brilliant coffee morning.
