I SEE our MP Alun Cairns has been out and about drumming up support for his election campaign, it’s nice to see he has been helping people, but isn't that part of his job as an MP.

What about the other side to Alun. Alun is part of a Conservative Government that has decimated this country in one way or another, so let’s see what else our Alun has been doing.

Our Alun is part of a government which has seen over a million people using foodbanks due to his government’s savage benefit cuts, these figures come from the Trussel Trust.

Our Alun is part of a Government which has introduced the hated Bedroom Tax which in some instances has led to some people being evicted from their properties as they could not afford to pay it.

Our Alun is part of a Government which has reduced the budget of the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, so now if you’re assaulted in the street and badly hurt you may not have a claim.

Our Alun is part of a Government which has now put a charge of £1,200 on the cost of taking an unscrupulous employer to court if you feel you have been sacked or treated unfairly.

Our Alun is part of a Government which has given a massive tax break to the rich by cutting their income tax by 5p, while at the same time cutting the benefits of the sick, the disabled and the mentally ill.

Our Alun is part of a Government that is cutting our Armed Forces to shreds; they have already been warned that they have gone too far by senior officers.

Our Alun is part of a Government that has slashed the size of our police forces and at the same time many front line police stations have been shut.

Our Alun’s Government has slashed the amount it gives to local councils in its block grant which means that the residents are facing massive hikes in council tax, and cuts to jobs, services, and local amenities like libraries, leisure centres, etc.

Yes our Alun has done really well and he must feel really proud that his Government to which he is or was a member has ruined the very people who put him and the rest of them in power.

I think it’s high time that we the people now give Alun something he and his colleagues richly deserve and that's a signing on card at the local job centre.
