IT'S GOOD to see the return of the areas pot hole scheme.
Wherever you go in Barry one has to avoid these holes or it is more damage to ones car.
Some bad pot holes in Holton Road but it is the same problem wherever you go.
The council did lay a new road in part of Holton Road east but forgot the west (one bad pot hole on Harbour Road).
The Five Mile Lane is also bumpy in parts.
On one area a road was laid with tar and was nice and smooth. All these bumps and crannies only take minutes to fill but they are left year after year and then they blame it on the weather or if salt and sand is laid, on the icy roads.
Good to see the council getting on with the problem and a nice picture of the workers doing the Big Fill with smiling faces.
Wish they would fill the pot holes on the ‘Lane’ at the rear of ‘Paget Road’, such a busy through-way for sports fans, ladies and men.
